About Me, Chelsea Bee

Hey y’all! My name is Chelsea Bowman, but you can call me Chelsea Bee. I am from a small town in South Carolina, but I now live near Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and our 2 dogs. I am southern mixed with city, and I like it that way with no specific label attached. I am very introverted, but I also deeply value close relationships and being around people. I love coffee (but I’m not addicted), flowers (plants are good too), and things that smell good (including essential oils, candles, and cookies in the oven)!

I am LITERALLY so excited you’re checking out my blog! I have always enjoyed writing, but I didn’t really start blogging until I went on an 11-month mission trip called the World Race in 2017. Blogging weekly was a requirement (ish), and I found that I really enjoyed writing about the countries I visited, my unique experiences, and the lessons God taught me along the way (Visit my World Race blog here). I decided I didn’t want to stop sharing just because I was back in America and writing wasn’t required of me anymore. Soooo, I didn’t. And while I don’t blog weekly anymore (not yet anyway), I have continued journaling and often post my journey for the world to see.

What You Will Find

Like I mentioned before, I don’t like like labels, so it’s hard to describe exactly what this blog is about or what you can expect to find here. I enjoy sharing what I am learning more than anything, because I feel that the testimony God has given me is powerful. I have struggles with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, control, relationships, and more, and these are some of the things I write about. (For Example: Living with Anxiety and Depression) He takes me through things for a reason, and I believe part of that is so others can know they’re not alone and maybe even learn something from it. That is my greatest hope for this blog: that my story will help someone else. I also post life updates from time to time (For Example: My Trip to New Hampshire), as well as writing about hobbies I enjoy. If you are interested in any of the aforementioned topics, please stick around!

Now What?

  1. Subscribe to my blog and/or my newsletter (a special monthly post and life update)!
  2. Follow me on social media!
  3. Leave me a comment! Both encouragement and criticism are welcomed and valued!
  4. Do all of the above! This is one of those times when the peer pressure is positive!

Until next time, Chelsea Bee
